Accounting firm Wall, Einhorn & Chernitzer, P. C. (WEC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Christine C. Hines, CPA, MSA to the position of supervisor within the tax department. Hines joined the firm in 2014.
Hines provides tax compliance services for clients across a variety of industries, including real estate, manufacturing and wholesale distribution. She has experience performing investigative analysis for litigation support projects and also enjoys tax research for transactional and other special projects.
“Christine’s continued growth within the firm enhances the integral role she has in Wall, Einhorn & Chernitzer’s client relationships,” said Nancy Hall, CPA, shareholder. “Her technical expertise, as well as her “hands on” approach to these client relationships makes her a valuable addition to our firm’s leadership team.”
Hines earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Master of Science in accounting from Old Dominion University. Her professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA), the Tidewater Chapter of VSCPA, and the Hampton Roads Tax Forum.
Hines enjoys giving back to the Hampton Roads community, serving on the volunteer committee of United Way of South Hampton Roads Women United.
